Sehr robuste Schattenstaude und  Bodendecker auch für schwierige Plätze im Wurzelbereich von Gehölzen. Der Teppich - Ungarwurz vermehrt sich durch oberirdische Ausläufer und bildet bald dichte dunkelgrüne Teppiche. Im Frühjahr blüht diese hübsche Pflanze mit gelben, erdbeerähnlichen Blüten.

Waldsteinia ternata ist wintergrün.

Pflanzen Sie diesen wirklich unproblematischen Bodendecker nicht zu schwachen Nachbarn, Waldsteinia ist sehr konkurrenzstark und verdrängt schwache Pflanzen gnadenlos.
