Zierliches, robustes Kleingras, auch als Bodendecker, in Heidegärten oder für die Grabbepflanzung  zu verwenden. Am schönsten wirkt das Blaugras in Gruppen gepflanzt

Sesleria caerulea ist bestens für frisch feuchte Gartenböden geeignet, obwohl es in der Natur aus kalkhaltigen Flachmooren stammt. Es blüht bereits sehr früh, aber auch sehr lange.

Wuchshöhe: 25 cm

Blüte: März - Mai, bläuliche Ähren

Laub: blaugrüne schmale, bereifte Halme, rollen sich bei Trockenheit ein

Standort: sonniger bis halbschattiger Platz, durchlässiger Gartenboden, keine Staunässe, besonders im Winter

Winterhärte: Z4

Topfgröße: 9 cm
